Modern toothpastes don't treat the root causes of oral health issues.
Zero Pro gets at the real culprits—harmful bacteria.
- 47% of U.S. adults age 30+ have periodontal (gum) disease caused by bacterial plaque buildup.
- 80% of plaque buildup and gum inflammation is caused by 2% of the bacteria in your mouth.
BioFuse™ Oil Matrix keeps your mouth protected from the 'bad actors' of the oral microbiome while leaving the good stuff untouched.
BIOFUSE™ WORKS DIFFERENT
BioFuse™ works smarter than other toothpastes by targeting the two main bacteria that cause cavities and periodontal disease. It disrupts these bad bacteria through a physical attack on their cell walls (think popping a balloon), while leaving good bacteria alone.

Lab Assay Results
Lab Assay Results
99.9% reduction in both bad bacteria during in vitro lab tests versus regular toothpaste.
In just 10 minutes of exposure, BioFuse™ Oil Matrix effectively eliminated both bad bacteria types by 99.9%.

Dr. Winter's Story
Near-complete elimination of harmful S. mutans in saliva after 8 days of brushing.
Dr. Winters tested his own saliva over 8 days while brushing with BioFuse™ Oil Matrix and saw near-complete elimination of S. mutans.
Clinical Trial
Clinical Trial
Clinical trial participants brushing with BioFuse™ Oil Matrix had ~50% less bad bacteria after 14 days.
Results of S. mutans in saliva compared to Placebo group who brushed with a major toothpaste brand over the same period.
Testing On Good Bacteria
Testing On Good Bacteria
BioFuse™ Oil Matrix shows selective elimination of bad bacteria, while letting the good guys recover.
Saliva samples were collected before and after brushing with BioFuse™ Oil Matrix versus a standard toothpaste. BioFuse™ samples showed elimination of bad bacteria after brushing, while traditional toothpaste did not. Importantly, BioFuse™ samples showed normal recovery of good bacteria.
THE FUTURE OF TOOTHPASTE

Demand more for your mouth.
We know there's a lot of choices in oral care out there. But we wanted to bring real innovation and purpose into an industry plagued by gimmicks. Here's how Something Nice is putting the care back into smile care.
Formulated by a dentist, made for you
After seeing the oral care industry stop innovating and continue to push centuries-old formulas, Dr. Winters decided it was time for some real change. With a modern formula that uses biomimetic 10% nHAP to rebuild enamel and breakthrough proprietary BioFuse Oil Matrix™ to protect your microbiome, Zero Pro is the only toothpaste you'll ever need.
Traditional oral care built the foundation. We're building the future.
HERE TO HELP
Have a question?
What is BioFuse Oil Matrix™ and how does it work?
What is BioFuse Oil Matrix™ and how does it work?
BioFuse™ Oil Matrix is our advanced nano-emulsion of plant oils, which helps disrupt harmful oral bacteria while leaving the good stuff untouched. Formulated alongside clinical researchers, it contains activated lipid molecules designed to target cavity and periodontal disease-causing bacteria. Once it finds its target, BioFuse™ physically destroys the integrity of the bacterial cell wall (like poking holes in a water-balloon)
Why doesn't Zero Pro Toothpaste foam up and why does it feel so watery when I'm brushing?
Why doesn't Zero Pro Toothpaste foam up and why does it feel so watery when I'm brushing?
It might feel strange, but these are good things! Zero Pro is made without chemical foaming agents, like SLS, which are commonly found in toothpastes (and soaps & shampoos). You might associate foam with cleaning power, but it doesn't actually provide the boost you think it does. As well, the combination of BioFuse™ Oil Matrix and Xylitol promote a big increase in saliva flow. This has dual benefits of spreading the active ingredients (like a mouthwash), and helping balance the pH of your mouth†. It may take some getting used to, but trust us, the results are worth it.
What makes nano-hydroxyapatite different from fluoride?
What makes nano-hydroxyapatite different from fluoride?
Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp) is a biocompatible mineral that's identical to what your teeth are naturally made of. Originally developed to help astronauts with bone density loss, it works to directly remineralize tooth enamel, whereas fluoride hardens your enamel by helping it absorb more minerals. At a concentration of 10% (which Zero Pro has), nHAp has been shown to be just as effective as fluoride in preventing cavities while reducing sensitivity.
Why 10% nano-hydroxyapatite—does the concentration matter?
Why 10% nano-hydroxyapatite—does the concentration matter?
Research indicates that a 10% concentration, nano-sized hydroxyapatite effectively penetrates enamel tubules and promotes remineralization. Lower concentrations may not provide sufficient coverage of tooth surfaces, while higher concentrations don't show additional benefits. Many brands claim to have nano-hydroxyapatite in their toothpaste without ever disclosing the concentration, which is often 3X lower than the recommended dose.
How does nano-hydroxyapatite compare to regular hydroxyapatite?
How does nano-hydroxyapatite compare to regular hydroxyapatite?
The nano-sized particles in Zero Pro are significantly smaller than non-nano hydroxyapatite particles. This smaller size allows them to penetrate deeper into microscopic enamel structures and dentinal tubules, providing better coverage and more effective remineralization.
Is there any concern of bacterial resistance if I stop using Zero Pro?
Is there any concern of bacterial resistance if I stop using Zero Pro?
We understand this concern, and the short answer is no. The advanced answer is that BioFuse™ uses nano-emulsion technology and works by mechanically disturbing the cell wall/phospholipid bilayer of the bacteria. Because it targets in this physical way, instead of disrupting cellular processes or mechanisms like regular antibiotics, the risk of resistance is very low.
Can I switch between regular Zero and Zero Pro?
Can I switch between regular Zero and Zero Pro?
There are no issues with switching between regular Zero and Zero Pro. Both contain 10% nHAp and xylitol, and are free from SLS and fluoride. The key difference between them is the targeted bactericidal action of BioFuse™ Oil Matrix in Zero Pro, which our original Zero formula does not have.
Is Zero Pro safe for kids who might swallow a bit of toothpaste?
Is Zero Pro safe for kids who might swallow a bit of toothpaste?
Yes! Zero Pro is completely safe if accidentally swallowed, making it ideal for all ages and anyone who prefers a fluoride-free option. However, we recommend supervising children under the age of 12 during brushing. If excessive amounts are ingested, consult a medical professional.
When can I expect to see results for sensitivity?
When can I expect to see results for sensitivity?
Most users will experience a noticeable reduction in sensitivity within 1-2 weeks of regular use. For best results, use Zero Pro twice daily and avoid rinsing immediately after brushing.
How many shades lighter will my teeth be after using Zero Pro Toothpaste?
How many shades lighter will my teeth be after using Zero Pro Toothpaste?
Everyone's smile is unique, and whitening results can vary based on your starting point. While this is a 'whitening toothpaste' in the traditional sense, nano-hydroxyapatite does provide a moderate whitening effect by filling and smoothing surface imperfections on enamel. This creates a more vibrant and reflective tooth surface. You may experience optical whitening up to 2 shades within 1-2 weeks of brushing.
